Pesto Pasta with Salmon

Ingredients
For the salmon

1 salmon steak

1.5 tablespoons butter

2 sprigs rosemary

4 cloves garlic

the pesto

50 g fresh basil
·
3 tablespoons olive
oil

50 g pine nuts

1 clove garlic

1 teaspoon sea
salt

the pasta
·
2 tablespoons olive
oil
·
2 tablespoons pesto
paste
·
Dash of white
pepper
·
½ cup cooking
cream
·
50 g cooked
spaghetti
·
Cherry tomatoes for
garnish
How to Make It
Step 1
For the salmon 1. In a medium skillet, add the olive oil and then the salmon steak, skin side down. 2. Add the butter, rosemary, garlic, salt, and pepper. 3. While the salmon is cooking, baste it with the oil that collects at the bottom of the skillet with a spoon.
Step 2
For the pesto Put the fresh basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic, and sea salt in a bowl and mix with a handheld blender.
Step 3
For the pasta 1. In a medium pot, add olive oil, pesto paste, and white pepper, stir, and let the sauce simmer. 2. Add the cooking cream, stir, then add the spaghetti, and mix until fully coated.
Step 4
Final presentation In a serving plate, place the salmon with garlic cloves and rosemary on top, next to the spaghetti, add some cherry tomatoes and a basil leaf as garnish, and serve.
